School Starts

Today my oldest baby started middle school. I know that she was ready, and I really thought that I was ready... Much to my surprise it was sadder for me than I expected. She had a terrific day, loves her new school, thinks her teacher is really nice and just adores middle school. I'm really glad for her!!

I also started school this week. I will be teaching 2 Organic Chem labs, 2 General Chem labs and a really cool lecture course Intro to Chemistry for non-majors. Since I teach at a Liberal Arts college I get to throw ethics and morals and society into the teaching of basic science and chemistry -- I'm really excited about it. We also have really new amazing laboratory facilities!

Tomorrow my youngest baby starts his last year of preschool. The bus will pick him up at 7:30 and drop him home about noon. Next week his twin brother starts his last year of preschool. The time is flying by!

Wow, pre-school, Jr. High, new job, it is complete craziness I am sure.......Well sister, it is a bit crazy around here but not as bad as I thought (for now anyway) I am sure it will get worse before it gets better but I think I am prepared for it so I should be in good shape. We went up north to my BIL/SIL's cabin (way up north, the WI/MI border) so we were youpers for 3 days) and had a BLAST. The older boys were on the mini-bikes all the time and we went on a bunch of quad rides through the forest. We stopped at one point and went sport clay shooting, what a BLAST that was. I have NEVER done it before and got 4 out of 6 clays with a 12 gage shot gun - YIPEEEE. I want to do it again SOOOOOO BAD!!! Jarrett even tried but it was too big for him. Bob and Dylan did very well too. Anyway enough ramblings from me. I MISS you terribly and hope we can chat soon. We will be out again this weekend but hopefully we can chat next week. Thanks for the note and I will talk to you soon!! :O)
