My Car and a Hot Summer's Day

About 6 weeks ago I got the car I've wanted for a while - my Hybrid Prius. Alexandra and I are thrilled that we may be helping to save the environment a little. Sadly, it's been in the shop twice in the last week - the check engine light keeps coming on and the hybrid battery doesn't seem to hold a charge once it sits. So hopefully I'll get my wonderful car back.

On a more positive side, I got the dining room cleaned out - except the laundry - and it looks so much better. Little by little through the summer I hope to get the house more organized so that when the semester starts the daily routine will be a bit easier. I also have stayed on my Weight Watchers plan today, and now that I'm feeling better off to the gym!

Well, today was certainly a warm and humid summer day. Even so, the boys played nicely outside and then later played in the hose with Alexandra. They had a lot of fun taking a "bath" in a little Winnie the Pooh wagon. In fact, they were so cute that I took photos and made a scrapbook page.
